Indian Coast Guard Navik GD Recruitment 2024: The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) has announced recruitment for the post of Navik General Duty (GD) for the year 2024. A total of 260 vacancies have been announced for this year.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian
- Gender: Male
- Age: 18-22 years as of January 1, 2024
- Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board
- Physical Fitness: Minimum height of 157 cm and chest expansion of 5 cm
Selection Process:
The selection process for ICG Navik GD consists of three stages:
- Computer Based Examination (CBE): This is a multiple-choice objective type exam with questions from General Awareness, Science, Mathematics, English and Reasoning.
- Physical Fitness Test (PFT): This test includes running, swimming, push-ups, sit-ups and chin-ups.

Physical Fitness Test
The Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for candidates qualifying the written exam will span over 2 days and includes:
- 1.6 Km run to be completed within 7 minutes
- 20 Squat ups (Uthak Baithak)
- 10 Push-ups
Physically challenged candidates are ineligible for this examination. Candidates should bring their sports attire and shoes.
